Mexico Tourist Land Card
The Mexico Tourist Land Card (Forma Migratoria Múltiple) is a mandatory immigration form for foreign visitors entering Mexico by land.
It applies after the visitor has met the visa or visa-free travel rules relevant to their case.
This form does not function as a visa, and it does not permit paid work. Visitors planning such activities must obtain the appropriate visa before travel.
Document Requirements
Applicants must submit 2 documents:
- Passport Bio Page: Must clearly show all essential details, photo, full name, and passport number.
- Applicant Photograph: A recent, coloured, digital photograph with the full face clearly visible.

How to Obtain a Mexico Tourist Land Card

Upload Documents & Pay
Upload the required documents and pay the applicable fee online.
Download & Present for Stamping
Receive your Tourist Card by email. Print it and get it stamped at the border.
Note: The Tourist Land Card becomes valid only when stamped by immigration officials.
What to Do If You Lose Your Mexico Tourist Land Card
Contact the nearest INM office to request a replacement. Follow the official instructions provided by the office.

The Mexico Tourist Card fee depends on the applicant's nationality and the processing option selected during the application.
- Standard processing (1 - 2 Days) - lowest fee.
- Rush processing (6 - 12 Hours) - higher fee.
- Super Rush (1 Hour) - highest fee.
The final amount is displayed before payment.

Consequences of Travelling Without a Mexico Land Card
Travelling without a valid Land Card may result in denial of entry and fines from Mexican immigration authorities.
Keep your Land Card in a safe place at all times. You must present it to immigration officials upon departure. If it is misplaced, obtain a replacement before leaving Mexico.
